As a certified Conscious Uncoupling and Calling in "The One" Coach, I launched Essential Connection Coaching to serve those recovering from relationship trauma and breakup and for those hoping to manifest a beloved that feels just beyond reach. Changing lives and healing hearts has been my life-long commitment through a 28-year career as a federal executive. Now my deepest desire is to help others mend the heartbreak of broken relationships or create the miracle of empowered, enduring love. I am here to partner with you on an amazing journey to harness essential connections to co-create your happily even after.

I had the good fortune of meeting and being mentored by licensed marriage and family therapist and New York Times bestselling author Katherine Woodward Thomas. For those unfamiliar with her work, she has written two highly-regarded relationship books Calling in "The One" and Conscious Uncoupling and boasts a 30-year career teaching love and relationship connection to coaches around the world.
I was attracted to Katherine's belief in the capacity to heal from broken places and to generate love in your life. As a never-married woman, this resonated with me as I had issues attracting and maintaining intimate relationships with men. And, as an African American woman, I deeply despaired over my inability to generate a soul-mate love with a man that would enrich my life and my community simultaneously.
What Changed?
Through Conscious Uncoupling and Calling in “The One”, I discarded limiting beliefs by learning to fully embrace my value and envision the future of love and abundance that I intend to create. Instead of waiting for someone to choose me, I choose myself by reaffirming my worthiness to receive the love I have long sought and by identifying new ways of relating to create a happier, healthier story of love moving forward. Both coaching programs have given me the gift of acknowledging my power and the ability to create something beautiful out of the broken pieces that defined my life for years.
